I LOVE it , PT 😀 How gorgeous. And how unusual.
Looks like a nice way to pass the time, doesn’t it?
What a great image PT!!! 😀
I get the feeling these two probably do this all the time …
That is a great picture, but not unusual. Well, maybe the shot is unusual, but sheep dogs are trained to run over the backs of sheep. At the Agrodome in New Zealand (yes, I’ve been there), they do a cute show with the dogs running over the sheep. Of course, it’s on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrSEZCYHH14. What’s amazing is how docile sheep are. 🙂
I’ve seen the dogs run over the sheep’s backs when they are bunched up, but I’d never seen one just hanging out like this one. I’m jealous of your time in New Zealand!
Like.
When I think “pastoral,” this isn’t what usually comes to mind.
What a funny photo. A dog lounging on the back of a sheep instead of herding it? Just goes to show: make no assumptions!
He looks pretty intent, though. I assume he’s keeping an eye on his other charges.
Now that’s a real comfy ride.
Beats any ride I own, that’s for sure. Handling might be a little iffy though.
Hahahaha! That’s great!
As much as I love my shearling boots and slippers, I can really appreciate the dog’s appreciation of comfort.
