Science adjusts its views based on what’s observed.
Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved.
If you agree, you’ll love this animated version of Tim Minchin’s poem “Storm,” narrated/recited by the author. Slate calls it “The Best Critique of Alternative Medicine Ever,” but alternative medicine is just the beginning …

I love every word this man says….
I’d never heard of him before but I think this is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. And yeah, that means I love every word, too.
I’m with Doug on this PT, and that video is just as great here as it was when I posted it 2 years ago! 😀
I saw it was two years old but figured if it was new to me, it might be new to others. It deserves the exposure, even if it is just preaching to the choir.
Heck PT, I liked it so much that I added this version with the lyrics in a comment for my post:
I was sure you’d appreciate this. Little did I know you were two years ahead of me (although I should have guessed. You have a way of ferreting out the great stuff). Thanks for this version. Can’t get enough of it.
“Ferreting” is a good word for it PT, because I honestly wasn’t sure if I had posted it or just bookmarked it (like a squirrel buries acorns) until I did a search. I wish there was some way to get Firefox to cough up a count for me, because I have to have thousands and thousands of them by now… 😳
