Another Olympian adopts a homeless Sochi pup

Not to be outdone by fellow Olympian Gus Kenworthy, US snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis is also adopting a homeless Sochi puppy. Looks a lot like Kenworthy’s pups, doesn’t it? We’ve a large contingent of athletes in Sochi. Maybe this puppy adoption thing will catch on.

  1. Beautiful people with big hearts, doing beautiful, big-hearted things. What’s not to like? I hope it does catch on, and that the spirit stays alive after their return home, for the pets in need of rescue right here…

    1. Yes, I keep thinking of all the dogs and cats that need homes right here at home. But maybe this publicity about pet adoption in Sochi will help the cause here.

    1. Yes, my Annie came from a local rescue group that found her wandering in rural eastern Kansas (I’m in Denver). Breaks my heart to think of her as a pup wandering alone out in the vast KS prairie.

... and that's my two cents
