Remember the kids in school that never had an opinion or chose a side until they watched what others said or check to see what others would do? Somehow this election cycle keeps bringing that to mind.
Another reason why the entire country should have primaries and voting on the same day – with media results backout until ALL the poles close. Would be a whole lot less annoying.
You’re absolutely right. I think that every time the media project a winner while people in that state (and others) are still voting. Not to mention entire states having chosen their winner weeks before other states vote. If I were high on hallucinogens, I couldn’t come up with a more insanely chaotic election system.
Well, it’s a cinch the media won’t back off. They think it’s a big deal to be first to project a winner. Of course, if they happen to be wrong, they’ll end up with well-deserved egg on their faces.
