HaHa! Good way to start the week!
Wish it were “Happy Week” instead.
The first time I saw a man who did not take his cap off indoors I thought he was being terribly rude. Quaint, eh?
Not that quaint. I was raised that way too. But times sure have changed, haven’t they? Good manners seem to have gone the way of the dodo.
We tried it on a lengthy round trip with family to dinner at a nice restaurant, and while enjoying the meal. Our “happy several hours” were wonderful (but we didn’t wear hats!)
Two of you noticed the hats thing, and until you mentioned it, I hadn’t. D’oh. Also hadn’t noticed the rather conspicuous sign saying “No hat, no service.” Not sure how that relates to the “no politics” thing. I must be even getting older than I thought I was.
