Ashley Adamietz is a cheerleader at Foothill High School in Palo Cedro, California. She was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in August. There are 57 players on the team and each of them placed an orange rose at her feet. (Orange is the awareness color for leukemia.) Player Ryan Caetano organized the special tribute, which took place last week.
