I found this photo on Westword, Denver’s alternative newspaper. The accompanying article, “Worst Arguments From the Denver Gazette’s Trump Endorsement,” had drawn me there, but the photo really spoke volumes.
I’d wanted to see what the Colorado Springs Gazette said in its endorsement of Trump but I was blocked by a paywall. The Westword story notes the same editorial ran in both Gazettes (same conservative owner), but both have paywalls. Beats me how locking your endorsement behind a paywall helps either you or your candidate.
Still, if the editorial is as weak as Westword says, maybe the paywalls are a blessing.
