Did you remember to change all your clocks last night? I got all but the one in the car. Oh, and my watch. And the little clock on the mantle. (Bless you, computer, phone, and thermostat, for changing yourselves.)
Tonight the sun will set at 4:57 pm. Ugh. That’s just wrong. So wrong. I hate it. I’d vote in a second to stick with DST year round. Of course, there’s always the argument that if we do that, kids will have to go to school in the dark. So start school later.
I’m yammering, I know. But Halloween is over and I had to get that pumpkin off the top of the front page.
Remember when this was all we had to complain about? LOL!
LOL! Indeed I do.
I agree (although at first I read the title as “Farewell, DJT” which I also wholeheartedly agree with)! Daylight Savings year-round!
Gee, and I thought I was in a bad way!
I grew up in Indiana and it was always the same time there. Never changed our clocks. They do now, I believe. That’s just the way it was. Sunrise and sunsets just gradually changed throughout the year. No big jumps. No lack of sleep, or additional time to sleep. And… no changing clocks. Although this year, all my clocks, except my car, all updated themselves.
If every single one of my clocks reset itself, I’d still be annoyed by the change. I despise the early darkness.
