The overall winner of the 2021 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is Ken Jensen for his photo “Ouch!” Jensen’s description: “A golden silk monkey in Yunnan China — this is actually a show of aggression however in the position that the monkey is in it looks quite painful!”
A gallery of this year’s winners and finalists can be viewed on the competition’s website. My favorite is “Ninja Prairie Dog!” by Arthur Trevino. As funny as the monkey is, I’m partial to critters from my part of the world — eagles and prairie dogs.
