johnthecook…going to Canada is like burying our heads in the sand and pretending we didn’t see it. The American people must remember, we have a REPUBLIC if we can keep it and NOT a democracy, and that was said by our founding fathers.
A republic is fine and I certainly hope we can keep it. I’ve no use for autocracies or oligarchies.
johnthecook… It is in my own opinion that America is under the leadership of an “oligarchy” at this point in time as President Joe Biden is nowhere in sight, his Vice-President is out campaigning for a political office that completely alludes her and threw our acting President under the proverbial bus!
A President doesn’t have to be in sight all the time. Obviously the spotlight has shifted to Harris because of the campaign. I don’t think Biden was thrown under the bus by anyone. He’s busy being president and staying out of the way of Harris’s campaign (for the most part).
It’s never over . . . time is infinite, and so is campaigning .
Sad but true. I just hate the thought of enduring a perpetual campaign. This one has seemed endless.
