I came across this video over on Brenda Looper’s blog, Serenity is a fuzzy belly. And although it’s been on YouTube for seven months (posted before the Nov. 2024 election) and has had 1.1 million views, a few more can’t hurt:
There. Now you can’t claim ignorance about Project 2025. Also, you’ve seen it in action for several months. Still, it doesn’t address and maybe never imagined Trump’s tariff insanity, an unelected Elon Musk being given unfettered power, the lies about and betrayal of Ukraine, the abandonment of due process in sending Kilmar Garcia to an El Salvador prison, the threat to do the same to American citizens, the unconstitutional demands on Harvard University, the brazen contempt for direct court orders, etc., ad nauseam.
Sooner or later there will be consequences for the man who thinks he’s a king.

I tried to read Project 2025 online and my hair was on fire within a few pages! This is absolutely horrible, and the stuff of the worst dystopian novel ever written. It is also a complete disconnect from the reality of what these policies will bring about.
I absolutely hope that there are consequences!
I neglected to include the tragedy of RFK Jr being named head of HHS. But aside from that, if the courts and Congress can’t, won’t, or don’t act, there’s always the next election. I’m hoping by then (2026 mid-terms) the majority of voters will understand and rectify the monumental mistake they made in electing Donald Trump and his minions.
Amen.
I hope that I will be allowed to vote as my birth certificate does not match my legal name right now. Sigh. I also hope that there will be elections and that they aren’t hacked somehow…
Given marriages, divorces and legal name changes, I can’t imagine anyone trying to match an adult’s name to their birth certificate. We can only cross our fingers that elections will continue to be honest and fair.
Can’t you spend the next nearly-4-years getting your paperwork up-to-date, Marilyn ???
Well, I can try. The election next year is the important one as we need to change congress.
Marilyn, get your paperwork together !
Sump’n to do over the next millennium.
Obviously, the messaging didn’t work . . . possibly, the first half of the video is all people watched (short attention span, and all), and they like it!
It’s incomprehensible to me that almost half of US voters actually voted for what we’re seeing now. I expected Trump to be bad but he has far exceeded my worst fears.
Colorado, you gotta admit that the Dems played some part in their and the country’s downfall …
The more extreme ones maybe. I generally don’t care for extremists. I live here in the middle ground, where I like to think most of my countrymen reside. Or a fair number anyway. Say, 51% of registered voters …
The deplorables consistently vote against their own interests, and their proud ignorance keeps them down in the mud. They deserve everything trump does to them. Too bad everyone else has to suffer as well.
Maybe they think they’re siccing Trump on the rest of us and are too ill-informed or ignorant to understand it will affect them too? You’d think they’d at least realize that Trump’s promise to “bring prices down, starting on Day One” hasn’t been kept.
Couldn’t abide its being an ‘amusing cartoon’ when it’s all so hideously real.
I get that. But bear in mind it was released before the election, apparently in the hope that maybe a lighter approach might get through to people. Offhand I’d say it didn’t work.
