  1. With Trump and his ilk we have entered an Orwellian era. Which will prevail, superstition or science? Nobody knows but it is certainly more depressing for those of our vintage.

    1. I think I’d have chosen the word “horrifying.” I hope I live long enough to see the return of some kind of normalcy/sanity for my grandchildren, but I’m not betting on it. It’s going to take a lot longer to fix things than it did to break them.

  2. He seeks to destroy it all and no one has the courage or power to fight him on it. My hope is that all of the damage he’s done to himself will catch up to him sooner rather than later

    1. I know the Republicans in Congress are subservient to Trump, but I’d hoped they were at least concerned enough about their own and their family’s health to not confirm someone with Kennedy’s history.

        1. Yes, they did. I wonder how many of them thought about the health of their families, their children and grandchildren, when they voted to confirm him. Kids picking up preventable diseases at school and passing them around to everyone — one of nature’s most effective vectors.

  3. Do we know what happened to his vocal chords ? It’s weird to hear him talk like a bum in a gangster movie; but it is a voice that matches what it says …

    1. One of these days it may dawn on the prez that he’s old too. And not aging as well as a lot of us. What’s puzzling is why he’s letting Kennedy destroy what he (Trump) accomplished with the covid vaccine, getting it produced so fast (Operation Warp Speed). Of course, as long as we’re bashing Kennedy, we’re not asking about the Epstein files …
