Olympics be damned. Stephen Colbert is back on live this week and I missed the fun last night. Sort of. It seems CBS told Colbert that he/they could not air his interview with Texas State Rep. James Talarico. So of course he did. Sort of. He put it on his YouTube channel to circulate, and circulate it did. So far this morning there have been almost 1.7 million views.

Insane move by the network
They capitulated to Trump when they canceled Colbert’s show, effective in May. It’s their loss. He’ll be fine. If nothing else, his YouTube channel has more than 10 million subscribers. But I’m betting he’ll get a new show somewhere, and may already have a contract.
I saw that early one he had already signed an excellent contract with Netflix for 4 shows

He’s been my fave since he first appeared on tv way back on Jon Stewart’s show.
Colbert is a brave man and a national treasure.
