A wee suggestion for those currently dealing with extreme heat (and even those who aren’t):
The live Katmai, Alaska, Bearcam is up and running for the summer. Perhaps the sights and sounds of a cooler place can distract for a few minutes. River rushing, salmon jumping, bears fishing, gulls circling. Can’t hurt; might help.
At 5 pm in Denver, it’s a chilly (in my book) 49°F in Katmai National Park.
I always love seeing them bears, Colorado ! – even though we’re almost mid-winter.
