A top Romney foreign policy advisor, Richard Williamson, said today the embassy violence in the Middle East wouldn’t be happening under a Romney presidency.
He has a crystal ball, perhaps? Gee, with such prescience, why hasn’t he been advising the president? Together they could have prevented all this. Oh, that’s right. Obama’s a Democrat. We certainly can’t have Republicans working with Democrats for the good of the country. Just think, Chris Stevens and his three embassy staffers would still be alive if only Williamson had shared his unique insight with the president. Or maybe he just thinks he’ll get Romney elected and then roll back the clock a few months and undo all this violence.
If wishes were horses, Mr. Williamson. If wishes were horses.
As for things being better with Romney in the White House … we got a taste of his foreign diplomacy abilities (presumably with Williamson’s expert advice) when he insulted the Brits about their Olympic preparations. And we got another taste of it when he went off half-cocked Tuesday night and accused the president of apologizing to the rioting Muslims. It’s beginning to look like the only thing Mitt Romney knows about foreign policy is how to open offshore bank accounts.
So far this decade, there have been zero(0) riots by atheists… just sayin’….

Of course. He thinks money is the solution to everything. Personally, I think most of those foreign aid dollars should be spent here at home.
The reference to Jimmy Carter, whose reputation suffered mightily because of the Iranian hostage crisis, is a blatant and classic ad-hominem attack. Pretty effective too, I’m guessing. Way too many voters are gullible and we are well into the gulling season. 🙄
Attacks seem to be all the GOP has to offer. But attacks are not a plan for running the country. I hope the majority of voters will realize that.
What a foolish statement. But what I keep thinking about is what the director of this film/clip/scene – whatever it is – is now thinking. To know that something you created sparked violent protests in several countries and one killed three Americans.
The man is a bigoted, hateful fool. He surely knew he would likely spark riots if the film gained wide circulation, which it did thanks to Egyptian television. He might not have anticipated American deaths, but his behavior was inexcusably reckless.

He’s so arrogant he thinks he’s better than anyone else and can do everything better than anyone else — including bringing about world peace.
