I’d seen this video on TV several times before it finally came to my attention that it was shot in Estes Park, Colo. This is just one example of why people love staying in Estes. Wildlife happens!
The video was recorded by Steve and Vicky Johnsen, volunteers at the Lula W. Dorsey Museum at the YMCA of the Rockies. Staffers at the center report seeing this cute pair playing together many times.
That is just so cool my friend! I saw it on the news as well but don’t recall any mention of where it was recorded.
This could happen almost anywhere in Estes, but particularly away from the downtown area. In the past I’ve had plenty of deer grazing around my rented cabin but I’ve never been lucky enough to see something like this.
I saw this yesterday on one of my feeds and thought of you; I wondered if it was near you, and now I know. 😀
Much adorableness!
It’s doubly adorable to me since these are RMNP critters. Estes is a bit over an hour’s drive from here, but that’s practically the same as here.
Had to come back for another grin. It’s just so Estes, isn’t it?
It is. Every delightful second of it.
