Guess that could be why a recent job description mentioned no open toe shoes? Glad this spring blizzard was not a nasty birthday surprise for you!
They’re pretty good here with the blizzard forecasts. We usually get at least a few days notice.
Yipes!!
The weather here can give you whiplash. But at least it’s never boring.
lol. We have the same in New Mexico, altho not as extreme. One day I’ll wish the swamp cooler was hooked up, but at night I’ll turn on the heat.
I do that a lot during spring and fall. It’s a wonder the switches on my thermostat haven’t fallen off yet.
It has been the weirdest Spring. That’s El Nino for you.
Saw the ski area with kayaks going down the slope last week. Never boring indeed!
Normally it wouldn’t bother me. But the big blizzard almost totaled my gate and I’ve been trying ever since to get it replaced. Can’t set fence posts in wet ground.
While we’ve had so many storms – another due 3am tonight, yet the ground is cracking.
We’ve got snow coming Sunday. Will probably be the fourth weekend in a row that my gate replacement gets postponed. That’s the problem with hiring someone who just works weekends, as a second job. Our midweeks have been beautiful … naturally.
