In the past I’ve written about it ad nauseam — the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. Then, two nights ago, there it was again in a series of three hour-long episodes on the National Geographic channel: “Oklahoma City Bombing: One Day in America.”
I almost didn’t watch because I was confident I’d seen all the coverage many times in the past. Or I thought I had. But, surprise, this docuseries is all new material. New to me anyway. New footage, new interviews, new information. I’d never seen any of it before. I was living in Oklahoma City back then, so I probably have more interest in this than most readers. But if you’ve any interest at all, I highly recommend this NatGeo production.
Also, for an extensive report about the bombing, I recommend Wikipedia.

I remember this so well, and thanks for the recommendation, I’m going to look for this.
I was so sure they couldn’t show me anything I hadn’t seen before … but they did. On the other hand, I am getting more forgetful …
It is a tragedy that violence is a part of human nature.
Indeed.
