Pied Type reader Pandionna sent me this new take on election maps, done by Adam Cole at NPR. Finally, something besides those red state–blue state maps we’ve been staring at for months. Those of you who, like me, live in swing states, will particularly appreciate this. (Those who don’t, count your blessings.) Just think of those big fat states being about to explode from all the advertising that’s been pumped into them. No wonder little Abigael Evans was crying!
How refreshing to see some apolitical analysis! And, I am grateful not to be in one of the swing states. Even so, we get a robo-call or two each day lately, mainly about the senate seat.
The other day I counted 3 or 4 robocalls before noon. I was ready to run screaming from the house. Or have my phone disconnected. Or something. Not only is this a swing state, but I’m a registered independent. Both sides figure I’m up for grabs. 🙁
This year for Thanksgiving I’ll be giving thanks that this awful election is finally over!
That was really interesting. Thanks so much for posting it.
I still feel like at any moment one of those states is going to explode and there will be dollar bills flying everywhere.
