I assume they’d just look like every other flood video to most people. But it’s heartbreaking when you know the town and recognize so many of the places.
Agreed! We’ve been going to Estes Park during summer for 30 years and this is just heartbreaking to see!
These images are so reminiscent of the unexpected and devastating flooding in Calgary. It seems we are destined to have more and more extreme weather events like these. My heart goes out to those who experienced this flood and losses associated with it.
Floods. Fires. I hate to think natural disasters are becoming the new norm … but after this year, I’m beginning to wonder.
