For the one or two readers who might be wondering, let me assure you that I am still gaming — more than ever since the pandemic started. After a very long absence I got back into Red Dead Redemption 2 (I was burned out on Destiny 2). I played through it another 1½ times before deciding to give Red Dead Online another try. Many, many improvements had been made in my long absence and I was immediately hooked. Only now have I begun trying to wean myself away from it because Assassin’s Creed Valhalla comes out next week and I intend to play.
You can see in the screenshots that I created a red-haired female character. I don’t know why, but I usually do if that’s an option. Maybe because it’s the most unlike the real me. The horse in the picture is my newest and current favorite, a Criollo. It’s a breed from South America that I’d never heard of. Currently he’s one of four horses I own; I’d own more, but it’s expensive to buy and stable them. I’m sorry the pictures aren’t better. Getting a great scene from a big tv screen to a usable format on my computer was complicated.
So that’s about it. This is how I’ve been coping with 2020 — escaping into a big beautiful world of mountains, plains, rivers, horses, and much, much more in 1899 America.
(Oh, and ice cream. Lots of yummy, real life ice cream.)

(For those who don’t know me, I’m 77 years old. I was dubbed “kickass grandma” by my grandson because of my gaming.)
