Let’s not forget that the Epstein files have yet to be released by Donald Trump, who has instead produced a constant stream of distractions. Things like tariffs, Gaza peace deals, ballrooms, MRIs, or trips to Asia, all served up with generous helpings of verbal hash. Go ahead. Call me salacious. I still want to know what’s in those files.
The Running Man, still running. Run Donny, run.

(Published in 1982 under the pen name Richard Bachman, Stephen King’s The Running Man is set in 2025. From Wikipedia: “The novel is set in a dystopian United States during the year 2025, in which the nation’s economy is in ruins and world violence is rising.”)

Credit where credit is due. Gemini produced this image on my phone. That’s probably why there’s a little Gemini logo in the lower right corner. I was pleased to learn Gemini could produce an image at all, much less on my phone with just a brief verbal prompt. I was even more pleased to see that for the most part, it spelled Epstein correctly. In my very limited experience with AI graphics, I’ve found it to be pretty bad with spelling.
Addendum: Can’t get this to work in Comments, so here ’tis. This cartoon, in an interesting coincidence, appeared in my email today:

He’s good at distraction.
He is a gigantic walking, talking distraction all by himself.
yep.
As the saying goes, methinks he doth
protestdelay too much. And Adelita doesn’t get to do her job.
At some point Johnson will have to swear her in. And then maybe we’ll see … or not.
