For those still following the story, Denver television station KDVR aired an interview yesterday with Michael Robinson, owner of Max, the dog that bit KUSA anchor Kyle Dyer. It questions the 10-day quarantine of the dog at the Denver Animal Shelter even though Robinson has produced proof that the dog has a current rabies vaccination. Robinson fears the quarantine may adversely affect his dog.
Update: KUSA has just reported that Max will be released to go home home on Saturday.
Oh, good. That dog has been through enough. Time for him to go home where he feels safe and get some rest.
Yep, I wouldn’t wish a stint in an animal shelter on any pet used to a loving home. I hope he doesn’t suffer any permanent trauma from all this.
