Some of you may remember my posts back in 2014 about a tiny kitten that almost froze to death. She was rescued, taken to the Denver Dumb Friends League shelter, named Elsa (from the movie “Frozen,” naturally), and adopted by the volunteer who took care of her.
Do you remember what she looked like?
Here she is right after she was rescued:

And here’s a picture from the man who adopted her:

Today I happened across those long-forgotten posts again and … wow. Really? Coincidence? Fate? Karma? My new kitten Rowdy looks just like her. Or she looks just like him. Or something.
Here are two recent pics of Rowdy:
I know, I know. Orange tabbies are a dime a dozen. Still, it’s kind of creepy cool. No, strike that. It’s awesome!
ah, fate –
Gotta love it. Sometimes. Sorry if the links weren’t working. I fixed them.
no worries
Gotcha (said by you or he) It is cool. Paw waves rom the Realm
I think it was a mutual gotcha.
I LOVE orange tabbies. Yours is adorable.
I feel so very lucky to have him.
PiedType:
I just had a comment from Brian…LordBeariOfBow…in the comment section on his last post. He said,
“I’m in hospital ticker trouble don’t know how long will you can you let those that read my stuff know and I hope to be back soon.”
so I wanted to share it with you here.
HUGS,
Carolyn
Just ran by to make sure she got the note, too. Thanks
You’re welcome. I’m sure I missed getting the info to some of his readers, but hopefully they will check back to his site and find out.
Thank you both.
You’re welcome.
Male Tabby’s are a dime a dozen but it’s actually very rare to have a female orange Tabby. I worked in rescue for many years & have only seen 1 female…she lives in my house & her name is Pumpkin. 🙂
I knew that, and yet not until I read your comment did it dawn on me that Elsa was indeed special just by being a female orange tabby.
