Another great Clinton speech rocks the hall

Bill Clinton just finished his DNC speech. And he said what Hillary was criticized for not saying last night — Barack Obama is ready to be president.

I loved the line about the world respecting us for “the power of our example, not the example of our power.” There were many great lines in the speech, but that was the one that actually made me grab my pen and make a note. (I guess I don’t qualify as a pundit. The MSNBC guys didn’t mention it.)

The other thought I had as he continued speaking was something emotional, along the lines of “nothing makes me feel more like an American than a good old-fashioned political convention.”
