Getting away from it all in Colorado

There is peace, quiet, and beauty in Colorado, but these days one has to go to the mountains to find it. This colorful sunset, viewed from Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, was shot by Erik Stensland. It appears on his Facebook page where he often posts photos that don’t make it to his gallery pages.

    1. Some combination of Colorado’s thin dry air, clouds, and mountains gives us more than our share of colorful sunrises and sunsets. Whatever it is, I’m not complaining!
