When all Republican legislators, conservative religious leaders, and political commentators have MD degrees, I might be willing to listen to their opinions about women’s reproductive health. Until then, it’s a medical issue about which they are not qualified to speak. Particularly in an election year.
Where do any of them (at any time) get the constitutional authority to have an official opinion in the first place?
I think voting them into office has something to do with it.
I don’t see any connection between being elected in a constitutional republic and being exempted from it’s restrictions.
I give up. Which specific Constitutional restrictions do you have in mind? States’ rights?
That says it all right there. Thank you.
You’re welcome.
Hear, hear! Or is it here, here? Both seem to apply. 🙂
Or perhaps hear here?
