I just stumbled across this August 2021 map from the National Park Service showing how much of Rocky Mountain National Park is closed due to last year’s fires. It’s painful to see it so starkly illustrated.
Those planning visits to the park should be aware that places visited and trails hiked in the past may not be available now.
Current closure information and regulations are detailed on the NPS website.

I hadn’t realized how extensive the Park fires had been.
I hadn’t either. Especially in the north in an area I’ve never visited. It’s heartbreaking. It will be decades before these areas recover and look like they did before the fires. And it certainly won’t be in my lifetime.
