Candidate match game

      1. I liked that quiz. I got “Your PERSONAL issues Score is 90%, Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 20%, According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is Liberal. Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded “safety net” to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.” Yep, that’s me!

        1. I scored totally Libertarian when I first took that quiz, way back in my hard-core radical phase. Back then, I scored Libertarian all the way. My philosophy hasn’t changed much, but my belief that my opinion matters certainly has!

  1. I got Obama, then Gingrich, then Paul. You’re right about the questions, though. For example, on energy, every choice that was not “none of the above” had to do with increasing U.S. oil and gas production. I wouldn’t do that. I think oil and gas should be phased out as sources of energy as much as possible, starting with cars.

  2. I did this quiz a few weeks back and came up with some real off the wall results. I recall Obama was 2nd, but don’t remember who was 1st. May have RP. But Bachmann was 3rd and that blew me away – until I realized that everyone else was tied for 3rd… she was just the first one listed.

  3. it’s like taking one of those IQ tests online. The answer you receive in no way correlates to anything near a scientific answer.. hell it’s usually not even in the ballpark! Hell, even recognized standardized IQ tests have a 16 point standard deviation. Tests conceived by the general huddled masses with a high school diploma….uhhh the mind boggles -grin-.

    1. Such quizzes are amusing, little more. If you’ve ever tried to construct an unbiased survey or questionnaire, you quickly learn how difficult it is.
